AirPods Pro Catching the Attentions of Users in the Market and uses the same design as the original AirPods, but are noticeably different.

Sleek and Cool Design
The silicone tips come in three sizes to ensure most ears fit comfortably. Apple says the tips were designed to conform to each individual ear’s contours, providing both comfort and better sealing, which is essential for noise cancellation.
The tips come in small, medium, and large, and each tip right-clicks on the AirPods Pro, making it easy to swap them out. To hold the it firmly in place, each tip is tapered internally to conform to the shape of the inner ear.
AirPods Pro weighs in at 21.8 mm wide and 30.9 mm tall, so they are larger than the initial AirPods (which are 16.5 mm) but not as tall as the stems are shorter.
Since the AirPods Pro is bigger than the AirPods, the Case is also bigger. It measures in width 60.6 mm, height 45.2 mm, and thickness 21.7 mm. The AirPods case, in contrast, is 44.3 mm long, 53.5 mm tall, and 21.3 mm thick.
AirPods Pro is designed with what Apple calls an “innovative vent system” that equalizes the pressure inside the ear to reduce the discomfort that is typical in other designs in the ear. Apple says that AirPods Pro is designed to make you feel like your ears contain nothing.
Ear Tip trial match up
Apple is providing an Ear Tip Fit Check for the AirPods Pro to get the ideal fit and best audio experience. Apple uses advanced algorithms and microphones in each AirPod to calculate the sound level in the ear and equate it with what comes from the speaker driver after inserting the AirPods Pro into each ear.
The algorithm then determines if the tip of the ear is the right size and suits well, or if it should be moved to another size to create a better seal.
The AirPods Pro replacement tips are available if you contact Apple support and are priced at $4 for a pair. AirPods Pro owners who have purchased AppleCare+ tend to be in a position to get free replacement tips.
Résistance to water
AirPods Pro is water and sweat resistant with a water resistance level of IPX4. This ensures that the AirPods Pro has been tested and can hold up from any direction to splashing water, so they should hold up well to sweat and light rain.
AirPods Pro should not be immersed in water and water penetration should be avoided as much as possible because water or sweat damage is not protected by Apple’s warranty.
Apple says the sweat and water-resistant scores are for non-water sports and exercise, and that sweat and water resistance are not lifelong conditions and can be decreased by regular wear.
Cancellation of Passive Noise
AirPods Pro is Apple’s first earbuds using Active Noise Cancelation technology, but Apple has already used ANC in its headphones on-ear beats.
Active Noise Cancelation leverages two microphones and the advanced software algorithms from Apple to tailor the sound to the ear of each person.
One microphone is outward-facing and is designed to detect external sound so that environmental noise can be detected by the AirPods Pro. There’s a second microphone facing inward that listens to sound towards the ear.
The first microphone helps the AirPods Pro to counter ambient sound with anti-noise that cancels background noise until it enters the ear, while the second microphone cancels the noise by detecting any residual noise. Apple says the sound cancellation feature continuously changes the sound signal 200 times a second.
Transparency Mode for Airpods
Apple also added a Transparency mode feature that lets users concerned about Active Noise Cancelation blocking out sound listen to the ambient environment.
Transparency mode takes advantage of the AirPods Pro vent feature to turn down the Active Noise Cancelation so that AirPods Pro owners can listen to traffic, hear train announcements, and more while still listening to music, podcasts, and more.
Effective noise cancellation and transparency modes can be disabled directly on the AirPods Pro, or by pressing the iPhone or iPad control center volume slider to access control center settings.
On the AirPods Pro base, which switches between Transparency mode and Active Noise Cancelation, you can activate the Transparency mode by pressing and keeping the Force Sensor on.
Audio Airpod Performance
Thanks to the built-in speaker technology and Adaptive EQ features, AirPods Pro offers superior sound than the original AirPods, according to Apple.
Adaptive EQ tunes the low and mid-frequency music that plays the form of the ear of each user, and what Apple claims is a warm, immersive listening experience.
There is a custom high dynamic range amplifier within the AirPods for generating pure, clear sound, along with a custom high-excursion low-distortion speaker driver that optimizes audio quality and eliminates background noise. The engine, along with thorough mid and high-frequency audio, offers up rich bass down to 20Hz.
Airpods New Feature: Spatial Audio
Introduced in iOS 14, spatial audio is designed to bring a movie theater listening experience to the AirPods Pro.
This works by adding directional audio filters and slowly changing the frequencies for an immersive surround sound-like experience that each ear receives to position sounds practical anywhere in space.
Spatial audio uses the AirPods Pro and iPhone gyroscope and accelerometer to track the movement of a person’s head as well as the location of their body, compare the motion data and restore the sound field so that it stays fixed to your ear even as your head moves.
Airpods H1 Inside and Chip Informations
The AirPods Pro uses the same 10-core H1 chip in the AirPods second generation and the Beats Solo Pro second generation.
Apple says the chip’s system design in the package is “meticulously designed” with each part being positioned based on the shape of the human ear for superior comfort, fit, and stability.
The H1 chip allows Active Noise Cancelation and Adaptive EQ, and facilitates hands-free requests for “Hey Siri.”
As with the AirPods, AirPods Pro connect automatically to your iPhone or Apple device, with the H1 chip also enabling fast switching between your Apple devices thanks to iCloud. With iOS 14, automatic device switching has been enabled, so the AirPods will automatically switch between iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch as you use them with no need to access Bluetooth controls to swap devices.
AirPods Pro also works with Audio Sharing, an iOS 13 feature that lets you attach multiple AirPods or Beats headphones to a single iOS device so more than one user can listen to the same music, watch the same movie, and more.
Audio sharing is limited to iPhone 8 and later, iPad Air and later, iPad and later 5th generation, iPad mini 5th generation, all iPad Pro models, and iPod touch 7th generation.
There are dual optical sensors, the aforementioned microphones (dual beamforming and one inward-facing microphone), an accelerometer that detects motion, and an accelerometer that detects speech, all of which have power features such as “Hey Siri” detection, pausing music when the AirPods are removed from the ears and more.
Airpod Power Sensor
On the stem of the AirPods Pro there is a new Force Sensor that supports different gestures, with a list of options below:
- Press once to play music or to pause
- When a call comes in, press once to answer the call
- Click twice to skip on a loop
- Press 3 times to skip back to a list
- To switch between Active Noise Cancelation and Transparency mode, press and hold
The Siri voice commands can be used for options such as placing a call, playing a particular song, getting directions, sending messages, and more.
Airpods Battery Life
The AirPods Pro lasts for up to five hours, but only when the Active Noise Cancelation is disabled. It offers four and a half hours of listening time in Active Noise Cancelation mode and up to three and a half hours of speaking time on a single charge.
Inside each AirPod is a 1.98Wh watch-style button cell battery, which is not replaceable as it is attached to a soldered cable.
The Wireless Charging Case offers over 24 hours of listening time and more than 18 hours of speaking time. There is a fast-charging feature that provides one hour of listening time after five minutes of charging or about an hour of talking time.
Wireless Charging Case charging can be done using a Qi-based wireless charging mat or via the Lightning port included. For faster charging Apple ships the AirPods Pro with a Lightning to USB-C cable.
Battery reminders, added to iOS 14, will let you know if you need to charge your gadget so you can still hold them up. Apple has also introduced its Battery Health features that will improve the lifespan of the battery by reducing the amount of time it spends on battery charging to 100 percent.
