The Wireless Over-Ear Headphones.also feature a built-in microphone, allowing you to make hands-free calls via your smartphone, or connect with different software programs for your mobile device, such as Google Assistant & Alexa, for example. Using them to send messages, make calls, answer questions, and more; while your mobile device is tucked away in a secure and convenient way. The LIVE 500BT headphones, speaking of convenience, feature a swivel and fold-flat design which helps make them more portable and easier to take with you.
Multi-Point Connection
This technology lets you pair the LIVE 500BT headphones with two Bluetooth-compatible devices, so you can quickly and easily switch between the two. For the second device, no more re-pairing or a separate set of headphones. For example, you can switch to your phone to answer an incoming call while watching a video on your tablet, or you can easily switch to a video conference call on your laptop while playing a mobile game on your phone.
TalkThru & Ambient Conscious
The LIVE 500BT wireless headphones make an ideal solution for your on-the-go audio needs, but it’s important to be aware of your surroundings while walking around outside. You can activate Ambient Aware with the click of a button, which allows more external noise to enter so that you can hear things like announcements more clearly. The music volume is lowered with TalkThru mode disabled, so you can have a fast talk with those around you, without taking off your headphones.

JBL Tune 120TWS
It’s hard to keep track of how many different true wireless earphones JBL produces, but you can’t argue that it hasn’t built up variety into its wide range of offerings. The $99.99 Tune 120TWS earphones are in essence the no-nonsense choice for the manufacturer. They ‘re not gym-oriented, they don’t work with an app and their battery life isn’t too impressive. Nonetheless, the audio experience is good, especially if you love the boosted bass that fits smooth, sculpted highs
Fresh Design
The Tune 120TWS earpieces are available in black, blue, green/black, brown, brown/pink, or yellow versions and have a glossy surface that surrounds the JBL logo/control panel. In the slightly larger-than-usual charging case, the earpieces snap magnetically into cradles. The case features a flip-top lid, outer panel status LEDs, and a covered micro USB port for the included micro USB charging cable.
The control panels split tasks between the right and left earpieces. Both can be used to turn up / down (held for on for two seconds, and off for five seconds). A single left earpiece tap skips a track forward, and a double-tap skip backward, while the right earpiece handles play/pause with a single tap, or an incoming call is answered. Tap the right ear button twice to summon the voice assistant for your phone, and hold the microphone down for three seconds (or unmutes it).
Performance
The 5.8 mm dynamic drivers have a frequency range from 20Hz to 20kHz internally. There is no earphone-related software, so the sound signature that you hear is the sound signature that you get unless you go rogue and use a third-party EQ. This is worth mentioning because there are plenty of competing (although slightly more expensive) true wireless in-ears with free apps that allow EQ adjustments, and the sound signature here is bass-forward unabashed.
Getting comfortable
The JBL Tune 120TWS includes three different size ear tips in the package but the smallest size is not small enough for one’s ears to everyone’s disappointment. Tiny ear canals to be honest and that has always made earbuds a challenge to us.
Also, there were no ear wings like you normally see with wired Bluetooth earbuds, which means the Tune 120TWS will always fall out of one’s ear. For that reason, you could find these a little difficult to wear if you’ve got smaller ears.
Good quality
The sound quality of the JBL Tune 120TWS has really shocked us all. The marketing materials are chanting a “pure bass sound,” and they provide a powerful full bass sound without any doubt. If you’re like me a fan of bass, then you’re going to be happy with the kick you get from those buds.
Bluetooth Link
We must confess, We had some doubts about the efficiency of the connection of a very wireless pair of headphones. The fear was utterly unfounded, though. Not once the JBL Tune 120TWS dropped connection with them And up to 50, the connection remained steady.
Conclusions with JBL Tune 120TWS
JBL’s Tune 120TWS earphones offer a good, if not precise, a listening experience where boosted frequencies do not overwhelm the mix and fairly balanced sounding. But beyond that, and a stable match, this is a pretty JBL barebones bid. There’s nothing wrong with that, but you can spend even less on Anker’s Soundcore Liberty Air, without making any compromises in the audio department, as we described before.
